About Me
I'm Patryk Szymański, a Senior UX/Product Designer.
By day, I design B2B FinTech products at Backbase, mostly around money movement, financial dashboards, and back-office tools. Before that, I worked on e-commerce platforms for CCC Group and led a design team at DataFeedWatch, a digital marketing SaaS product.
My process runs on close collaboration, fast iterations, and AI-powered prototyping, with product managers, business owners, engineers, researchers, and analysts all in the mix.
I've also been part of the local UX scene since the early days: organizing meetups, including Cursor for Designers Kraków, speaking at conferences, and teaching human-computer interaction at the Academy of Fine Arts in Kraków.
I have a master's degree in psychology, an aviation technician diploma, and I'm currently building my software engineering skills and learning Chinese. When I'm not designing, I'm probably hiking somewhere with a good view.
